The front gate to their 3BD 2BTH one story house. All houses are surrounded by walls. The tent was from a sleep out. They are underwhelmed by the peach pink paint on the front wall!! The front door to the house is visible to the left of the tent.
The top of the front wall and some of the side walls are lined with razor wire to discourage others from coming into the property.
Max was kind enough to stand by the washing machine in the laundry area on the back side of the house. The big blue tank holds the wash water from the machine, so they can reuse on the first wash cycle which saves water and fills the machine(by hand dumping of buckets full) much faster (a couple of minutes vs 20 minutes).
The kitchen which is tiled from floor to ceiling. The frost free-enery efficient refrig, cabinets, propane 4 burner stove are on left. The marble top staging area is straight ahead. The stainless steel sink (not visible due to open windows) and cabinets are on the right.
The living room which is the first room entered from the covered patio on front of house. Wem has been experimenting with pallet furniture and the couch and love seat are initial set ups. Sara wants to paint this room white, as too many of the walls are light yellow. All floors are tile. A bedroom is just to the left on the front of the house. Two more bedrooms are on the right behind and are accessed by a hallway which terminates in a small bathroom. The kitchen is on the left behind and is accessed by a doorway just opposite this opening to the living room.
The boys bedroom which they have done some decorating using existing stars on the walls. Lucas sleeps on the bed by the window and Max is to the right on this wall.
Most of our meals are consumed on the covered patio with a black tile floor. The front door to the house is behind Max. Carol is on left, Sara, and Lucas. Walkways on both sides of the house are about 4 foot wide for access to the back yard.
The living room with the love seat gone. It will be converted into some stools for HIGH kitchen table which is marble and fastened to the floor and the wall.
The viscious watch dog (Joy) on the covered patio --guarding the house.
She is still tiny compared to the kitchen chair to the left.
