Carol snapped this last night. You can see the lake is frozen over and covered with snow as you look out toward Sabra. Cliff and Kathy's deicer is keeping the end of the cove open for ducks and herons.
Speaking of herons, this one is hunched over and trying to stay "warm". We did see him/her catch a small fish. We are playing with taking photos through viewing scope. Haven't quite got it down yet. The snow covered chunk behind the bird is the cable floater for Collie's dock.
We did take a drive around the lake today, just to get out of the house for awhile. Stopped at ReStore in Camdenton, as Carol had never been there. Had lunch at Milarkies in Camdenton then hit three antique stores as we worked our way to Versailles and finally Rocky Mount. The warm weather and melting snow are WONDERFUL!
