You have to imagine the pictures. We "older" relatives continue to forget that we have put cameras in our purse or pocket.
Monday night we enjoyed her voice in the choir concert at the Eldon Baptist church. The music selection was awesome and the conductor was animated and GOOD. I did count the members in the choir, but that was more than 10 minutes ago!!, There are a few more concerts if you would like to enjoy some great music.
Friday night was "Harvey". She was the wife of the main psychiatrist at the Sanitarium. The crowd was sparse but the applause was loud. The rabbit appeared at the end!! So are we all "crazy"?? Last show is the evening, but my post is too late for you to attend, unless you planned ahead!! You have to "imagine" a beautiful lady in her mid 60's, married to the main psychiatrist (Crumley??) who also ends up seeing "the rabbit".
Thanks, Kristi, for getting us out of the house!! We really enjoy the events.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY
It started last Wednesday and by Sunday evening we had over 5.25 inches of rain. The showers just kept rolling over us!! We dumped water from our flower pot drip pans 4 times this week. The cathedral was really "roaring" when this shot was taken.
The cooling fan for the radiator on the 2007 Town and Country minivan stopped working. First quote was $350 for replacing the dual cooling fan assembly (can't buy a replacement fan --although it would be really easy to replace a single fan) plus $75 for labor to instal. Being a thrifty Nebraska farm boy, I decided to check local salvage yards and parts stores. No used fan assemblies to be found, so parts stores pricing ranged from $175 to $205. To the internet where prices ranged from $98 to $105. Order one and with freight it cost $125. So Sunday I started removing things to get to the assembly and was doing great until I ran into a couple of troublesome electrical connectors. With the help of a neighbor we finally solved the sticky connectors. Then we examined the fan assembly to make sure it would fit. The electrical connectors required a larger area to "fit" than the new assembly had available, so I disassembled the fans and filed out a "groove" to give clearance for the connector. All of this was done while the Sunday Showers were stopping/starting/stopping/starting. Finally succeded about 4:30 pm when I started about 9am!! And yes, the individual fans are VERY EASILY removed from the ASSEMBLY.
I hope to use the 12 volt good fan as an air moving device in the greenhouse using the solar charged battery energy.
ttfn. We are cleaning like crazy as the Harrops arrive tomorrow.

Piniata and Pond Easter 2012
The cupcake piniata was left over from Ava's birthday so it was "strung" up and the evil Lee was the rope handler and daddy Shannon was the blindfolder guy. Alec was getting the "fold" and Ayden was holding the bat.
Ava got in several good "licks"
Ayden whacked the dickens out of it!!
Alec, Erin and Aaron watched from a safe distance.
Korby got in some licking of a different kind.
The cupcake finally broke but they had to take off the blindfolds to accomplish that feat, as the piniata was tough!!
Shelby fishes while Sam throws the red frisbee to Lee (frisbie is pinkish just above Lee's head)
Ooops, sorry Shelby. Are you catching any fish??
Lee does the bare right foot retrieval method. They once had to get a large broom to retrieve the wayward frisbie.
The girls are wondering if there might be some eggs out there??? Either Gary or Sam has a snag!!
Hey, Sam, are you catching anything, Huh, Huh?? I see a duck!!
Easter 2012 at Gary and Pat's
OK, So Sammi wasn't there, but she was in Susan and Joe's backyard in Maryland getting ready for an Easter egg hunt!!
Raena and Shannon were chillin'
The tree reflection was notable
Alec was waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and then he had to go to the potty just as the hunt was about to start.
The gate is open!! and the "hunters" are making their charge.
Ayden got one!
Alec got one. Sorry Ava I didn't get a good shot of you.
Some of the adults were in the thick of things but others were directing from the safety of the porch!!
Here was a good spot to look!!
Yep, safe spot for adults!!
We had just enjoyed a yummy dinner of ham and all the fixings and homeade ice cream with strawberries and/or chocolate sauce. Shelby is eating his slowly to avoid the "head freeze" that some of us suffered!!

Our Leopard Frog
Was cleaning up and organizing the deck so unstacked the plastic chairs and found this critter in the last one!!
Carol says it is a leopard frog. He likes the deck and is now hiding among the tomatoes and other plants that are flourishing in the HOT sunshine. Hope we get some of the forecast rain in the next couple of days.
